The service uses a unique quoting system that includes an automated word count function, enabling users to receive an instant, accurate quotation for their translation and editing work. A simple, yet highly flexible ordering process gives the user maximum control over the translation/editing process, including deadline, quality, style and format. And an extensive back end, or administration section, means that Trans-Asia will be able to respond instantly to user needs, while speeding up the overall production process. The result will be a service offering unprecedented speed and convenience.
While a job is in process, users will be able to monitor progress from their Member's Control Page. Users can use the same page to ask questions about a job or send feedback once it has been received.
To help ensure consistency and accurate terminology, Qwik-Trans offers a glossary feature, which enables users to build their own bank of technical words, proper nouns and other terminology, which is then made available to the translator and editor. The glossary can be exported to other file formats.
Following this initial release, development on Qwik-Trans will continue, with Lexxicorp planning to add a number of useful features in the months to come. According to Trans-Asia CEO James M.
